This has been a hot topic between me and my girlfriends. I want to know what sweetener you find good all around and why. We know most have the bad reputation of the chemicals (Aspartame, Saccharin, Acesulfame potassium, Sucralose, Cyclamate and Neotame) that can cause "X, Y, and Z." Maybe you've found a natural sweetener other than sugar, you'd like to share with us.
I sweeten my food with regular sugar, preferrably brown sugar since it's a little stronger and its been treated less.
I've always been very skeptical of artificial sweeteners. I think they contain too many chemicals. If I had to choose over potentially poisoning my body over a few extra calories I'd need to
burn each day I'd choose the extra calories.
For my fellow sugaraddicts out there who are into Splenda, please take a few minutes to read this article regarding the DANGERS of Splenda... http://www.wnho.net/splenda.htm
There's plenty more literature regarding this artificial sweetener...
Hope this helps!
I use Sweet and Low but, only in my coffee. Everything else, I eat or drink has to be contain real sugar...that's just what I like.
I like Equal. It's funny, I work with a bunch of Splenda lovers, but they order me my own little box of Equal and use their massive box of Splenda. Splenda is scary. Not that Equal isn't, but Splenda is much, much worse.
sweet&low all the time. I don't like the flavor of sugar anymore.

I use splenda, but you can't 'bake with it alone...it loses it's sweetnes. that's why they sell splenda sugar blends
I'm all in.
im addicted to splenda... my doctor actually told me to cut back but i cant!! haha i put it on everythingggg
I don't know, the way Splenda fizzes up when you put it in your tea or coffee sort of makes me wary. Why does it do that?
Sweet&Low, but only in iced tea. Everything else I make with sugar.
Unless I'm making my tea at home and I can boil the sugar into the water, then I skip the pink stuff later.

I use Splenda because it's the closest taste to sugar I've found. Ive tried Stevia, but yuck, me no likey.
