As a child, Isecretly peeked under my mom's bed to find any clues as to what I'd get for Christmas. I'd even pick up boxes when no one was looking to shake them a bit, and went as far as carefully removing tape, and opening a few!
Well, those days are gone... well actually, are they?
I'm curious to see how many of us still snoop around, trying to find out what our loved ones got us for Christmas.

I'm in between the two...I shake boxes a little but I don't go nuts. I actually didn't when I was a kid either. 
I love being surprised. But I also like guessing. But, I don't want to ruin the surprise.

I snooped BIG time this year - I made an Amazon wish list and my boyfriend sent it to his family. I went on to see what was purchased from the list. 
I didn't want to, but I couldn't help myself!

Well, they sent one of my presents already, because it would be too big to lug home in my suitcase. They sent me a kick-ass food processor with all these different blades and stuff. It's awesome.
I'm getting a pair of black suede peep-toe wedges from Steve Madden, a cute pair of brown woven peep-toes from BC Footwear (they're actually spring/summer shoes, but I'm so in love with them that I'll wait), a bunch of books (mostly memoirs and cookbooks), and some DVDs (including Harry Potter 1-4).
I'm sure I'll still get some stuff that's a surprise, though.

i am the BIGGEST SNOOP!!! this year my BF and his parents told me that they are going holiday shopping and that i am NOT WELCOME to come with them! then they put all of my presents in one room of their house and LOCKED the DOOR so i wouldn't be able to snoop around!!! BAH!

I used to be a snooper and a half! I actually peeled the tape off of my presents one year and then replaced it perfectly...needless to say that was my last year of snooping because I had no surprises...btw, my mother has always called me "Snoopy", yes, you know why...

I opened my presents once when I was young, but I felt so guilty! I think I felt guilty because my mom worked so hard to get our presents and I just opened them without her there. I don't even look at what is under the tree now though!

No! Never! In fact I have two presents sitting here and one isn't wrapped, just in a bag, and I won't look.
When I was little, my brother and I both were dying to know what a present was. We made a pact, we'd both open the one we wanted, enough to see what it was and rewrap. We carried this out,
and I hated it. I hated knowing ahead, and faking surprise Christmas morning sucked. lol

lol @jinx. i definitely did a few times as a child, but now i don't because i like to be surprised and it takes all the fun out of it when you know what you're getting.......
